Carlos Rosado is Tenaci Dev’s Principal Scientist with over 20 years of experience translating molecular and cellular biology discoveries into impactful real-world applications. With a PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Carlos has developed first-in-class therapeutic candidates, diagnostic assays, and patents that have been licensed for clinical development. His expertise spans immunology, protein chemistry, and translational diabetes research, combining deep technical knowledge with operational maturity to drive innovation from discovery through clinical application.

Carlos has successfully led multidisciplinary research teams across academia and industry partnerships, managing projects from discovery science through clinical trial planning, IP generation, and commercial collaboration. With 13 years of experience in the clinical healthcare space and 10 years working with various animal models, Carlos brings a comprehensive understanding of patient-focused outcomes and therapeutic target development to Tenaci Dev.  Carlos’s leadership has secured national grant funding while mentoring the next generation of researchers and contributing to high-impact publications.

Specializing in protein chemistry and macromolecule delivery to subcellular organelles, Carlos excels in assay development and optimization, creating novel tools to investigate complex biological questions. He has demonstrated exceptional ability to lead individual and team projects of significant scale and complexity while meeting financial and project targets. Carlos’s strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills enable him to actively develop new scientific opportunities and support commercial endeavours across diverse research collaborations.
