Muthu Mohan, PhD, is the Product Development Manager at Tenaci Dev, where he leads projects for clients within cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams—including healthcare professionals and industry experts—to advance drug development across human and veterinary health, from early research through to market-ready products. With a strong background in molecular biology, drug design and optimisation, preclinical and clinical strategy, and market intelligence, he is passionate about driving innovation to improve patient care and outcomes. He also enjoys mentoring emerging talent and supporting life science innovations within the global biotech community.
He holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and Translational Medicine and has over 10 years of research experience, including an international postdoctoral fellowship at PennMedicine, University of Pennsylvania. Throughout his research career, he has worked on translational projects using preclinical models, genome-wide association studies (GWAS), and clinical datasets to discover and validate novel therapeutic targets. The results from these studies have contributed to a strong publication record and secured competitive international research grants totalling over $3.3 million, awarded as both Principal and co-investigator.
